Founder Story
Our story started over thirty years ago with Phil, one of our founding partners. At the time working as an IT consultant for the UK’s biggest It service provider, he gave some of his spare time assisting a friend whose company struggled to get the service they needed. This was initially delivered as a favour which evolved to a few more friends asking for help and offering to pay for the service. It was not long before there was a team of equally dedicated people looking after a dozen organisations.
When Alex, our other managing partner joined the company growth expanded rapidly and we feel like we still only getting started.
With our expanding client base across the UK, and three sister companies The IT Support Group name was introduced to bring all our services under one banner.
Most of our dedicated team have Computer Science Degrees from various UK based universities including Cambridge University and professional qualifications from Microsoft, Cisco, Datto as well as others. They all share our commitment to going that extra mile to make sure that our customers love what we do and are free from IT worries.
